We recommend using a small paint brush to apply 2 layers of glue to both surfaces, waiting 5-10 minutes for it to dry, and then attaching the layers together with pressure. Traditional Bimini Top sellers had no good solution for Inflatable Boats, as their offerings were either too weak to support the Bimini or too difficult to install. Seamax has developed a special Bimini Pontoon Fitting Kit specifically designed for all inflatable boats.
The patch has a curved interface to attach to the pontoon, and it also features a built-in, strong stainless steel bracket to support the Bimini, which can withstand up to 100 lbs and 30 knots of wind speed. The fitting can turn 180 degrees, allowing for a wide angle of installation at any position. The design and quality of this product have been recognized as the best solution by Zodiac dealers.
The package also includes stainless steel hardware, such as bolts, lock pins, and wind nuts, allowing the customer to choose a temporary or permanent installation solution for their Bimini top.
Seamax offers both PVC and Hypalon packages, with the glue sealed in an aluminum bottle. If your boat is made of TPU (Polyurethane), please choose the PVC version.
