ADJUSTABLE DESIGN: These wheels have 4 adjustment positions for length and angle to accommodate different leg lengths. To adjust the leg length, simply push in the spring-loaded buttons on each side of the leg and either pull or push to lengthen or shorten. To adjust the leg angle, push down on the spring-loaded bar near the top of the leg assembly and move the leg assembly to the desired location. To remove the leg assembly from the bracket, pull out the quick release pin located at the top of the leg assembly.

INSTALLATION: This dolly set should only be installed by an adult with some experience in working with tools. To install the wheel set properly, you will need to drill 5/16" holes in the plywood transom for the mounting brackets. It is crucial to locate the position of the holes correctly. Please check carefully, including the wheel arm position, before starting to drill any holes.

MAINTENANCE: Wash the dolly after use in saltwater or on sandy beaches. Check the tire pressure before every use. Do not store the wheels under the sun or next to heat sources to maximize their lifetime. Remove the wheel arm from the transom bracket when storing your boat. Lubricate the spring-loaded dolly system if needed. Always keep the lock pin on the dolly bracket.

TIRE INFLATION: Dolly tires may not be fully inflated when shipped; please only give 15-20 PSI pressure at room temperature before using. It is best to use a car tire digital air pump to prevent tire over-inflation. Tire over-inflation will cause damage, and the warranty will not cover it.

We suggest using this upgrade kit for boats 14ft and up, as it provides a wider transom to support 4 wheels. The new tires are 14" in diameter and about 4" wide, made of 4-ply reinforced vehicle-grade natural rubber that is UV, heat, and saltwater resistant for up to ten years.

The wheel arm has 60° and 90° locking positions to move up and down. The upper-60° position can free up more space on the top and side of the transom, while the lower 60° position allows the wheels to run at the same level as the prop, turning the wheels into a prop guard during boat launching.

The transom bracket installation area is about 8 x 3 inches, and the shorter design allows for more installation options on different types of boats with varying transoms. The brackets can be installed at the waterline top position, preventing water from entering the screw holes. The bracket design was developed in 2019 and now requires only 2 bolts for installation, making it easier to mount on your boat while maintaining the same loading capacity.
