The Seamax Easy Load Boat Launching Wheels Set is designed by Seamax Canada, crafted from the hardest marine-grade T6 aluminum alloy with CNC processing. The product features a shiny anodized coating on all aluminum parts, making it suitable for saltwater use. All the small parts are made of solid stainless steel.
The system has been lab-tested to support up to 1000 Lbs, with a maximum loading capacity of 500 Lbs in all conditions, making it suitable for inflatable boats, aluminum boats, and fiberglass boats.
This system is designed for boats with a transom, and the length of the boat should not exceed 16 FT, with a total weight within 500 Lbs. The transom wheels should only be installed by an adult with some experience in working with tools. To install the wheel set properly, you will need to drill 4 holes (5/16") in the transom for the mounting. Additional reinforcement may be required on some aluminum transoms, and marine sealant, such as Sikaflex 291, can be used.
The new Push Button design and the max 3 stages wheel arm allow the system to be adjusted while afloat in the boat, leaving or coming in, providing different performance positions for boat launching. The wheel arm length increment is 2.5" per stage, plus the wheel's diameter, resulting in a range of 22-28 inches.
Regarding tire inflation, the dolly tires may not be fully inflated when shipped. Please only give 15-20 PSI pressure at room temperature before using. It is best to use a portable type digital air pump in case the tire is over-inflated, as over-inflation can cause damage, and the warranty will not cover it. A dual-wheel kit is available for this dolly for heavy-loading applications.
Maintenance is crucial for the longevity of the product. Wash it after use from salt water or sandy beaches, check the tire pressure before every use, and avoid storing the wheels under the sun or beside heat sources. When storing the boat, remove the wheel arm from the transom bracket. Lubricating the spring-loaded dolly system is necessary, and keep the lock pin on the dolly bracket.
The manufacturer provides a 2-year Parts Limited Warranty within the USA and Canada, as well as a 30-day free replacement on any defective transom wheel sets.
