The MotorGuide Xi5-80SW 48-Inch 24V Wireless Trolling Motor is designed to provide anglers with precise propulsion and superior boat control. This saltwater motor features a wireless control that allows you to operate the motor from anywhere on the boat, ensuring you can achieve your greatest fishing success every time out.

The Xi5 Wireless Saltwater model comes with a composite shaft material and a 3-blade Machete III Glass-Filled propeller, as well as a wireless hand-held controller, digital variable speed controls, forward motor direction, battery meter, and a foot-pedal wireless remote, which is available as an accessory. The wireless control is a standard feature of the Xi5, unlike many competitive motors where it is an expensive add-on.

The motor's innovative mount features an easy-to-read LED dashboard that lets you quickly check the status of four key functions in any light conditions: Power ON/System Ready, Propeller ON, Pinpoint GPS System Active, and three levels of battery life.

The Pinpoint® GPS, which is the industry's most accurate GPS, provides 3 times the precision control and a tighter hold on your anchor point. When paired with versatile Lowrance® displays (sold separately), it becomes easy to maximize Pinpoint® GPS control and functionality, allowing you to create new fishing strategies.

The Xi5 also features a sophisticated steering transmission with ball bearings that reduce friction and wear, custom seals that keep water and dust out, and an extra-rigid shaft support tube, delivering dependable, quiet, and precise performance. The high-efficiency electronics are fully encapsulated in a high-tech coating, making them impervious to water and dust, and there is a protection circuit that prevents lower unit damage if the prop is stalled.

The unique stow and deploy mechanism of the improved, low-profile mount aligns and guides the motor into the stowed position, securing it in place. For added safety, a secondary lock prevents unintentional deployment and potential damage. The new composite shaft is so capable of managing any obstructions – it will bend but won't break – that it is backed by a lifetime warranty.

The Xi5-80SW 48-Inch 24V Wireless Trolling Motor delivers 80 pounds of peak thrust and has a 48-inch-long composite shaft with a 3-blade Machete III Glass-Filled propeller. This 24-volt motor has a maximum draw of 56 amps and is recommended for boat lengths of 17-21 feet.
