Setting up the Seamax SUP is a breeze. Simply pull the board out of its bag and unfold it. Attach the fin, ensuring that the longer portion is oriented towards the end of the board. Then, flip the board over so that the valve at the front is facing upwards. The entire setup, including the board and all accessories, weighs approximately 28 lbs when packed in the backpack.
Inflating the SUP is a straightforward process. Remove the valve cap and check the position of the valve stem – it should be in the "up" (inflate) position. Inflate the board until it reaches 15 PSI. It's important to note that all Seamax SUPs are tested to a maximum pressure of 20 PSI.
When it's time to deflate and pack up the SUP, simply remove the valve cap, push in the valve stem, and twist it a quarter turn clockwise to lock it in the "deflate" position. Detach the fin by pressing the fin holders together and popping the fin off. Roll up the SUP with the top side facing outwards, which will help expel the remaining air, and then store it in the provided bag.
Caring for your Seamax SUP is a straightforward process. Clean the board using a mild detergent and warm water, and be sure to rinse it with fresh water after use in saltwater. To ensure the longevity of your SUP, avoid storing it in direct sunlight or exposing it to extreme temperatures for extended periods.
