For the best results when gluing, it is crucial to maintain the relative humidity at less than 60% and the ambient air temperature between 18°C to 25°C (65°F to 77°F), and avoid direct sunlight. It is essential to clean the patching area on the boat, as well as the contact side of the patch, using M.E.K. (Methyl Ethel Ketone) patching solvent and cleaner.

Regarding the product content, it is important to note that it contains Polyurethane. M.E.K. can be harmful if inhaled and may cause eye irritations. Repeated exposure may lead to skin dryness and cracking. Therefore, it is crucial to avoid sources of ignition, including smoking, and not to breathe the vapor or spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water and seek medical attention. Ensure the work area is well-ventilated, and avoid working near open flames, sparks, or other heat sources.

With regard to storage, the glue and all chemical materials are considered dangerous goods and should be kept out of the reach of children. Store them in a cool and safe spot to maintain the product quality for up to 3 years. Before use, mix 5% hardener (treatment) to the glue. In cold weather (10°C-15°C) or high humidity (50-75%), you can increase the hardener up to a maximum of 10%. However, do not exceed a mixture of 10% to the glue. If the glue hardens, you can add up to 10% MEK to reactivate it. The glue mixed with hardener can be kept for up to 6 hours.

To apply the glue, use a small painting brush to apply 1-3 layers on both material surfaces. Wait 5 minutes between applications to allow the glue to dry, and then attach the two pieces of material together. Once the patch is applied, work from the center out with a teaspoon or similar tool to force out any air bubbles, and then apply pressure to the repaired area for at least 24 hours. Wait 48 hours for the glue to cure before using the repaired item.

For better results and to ensure the overall quality of the repair and extend the lifetime of the bonding, it is recommended to use a 2-part glue (glue and hardener). This is particularly important for any repairs related to air leaks.

The instructions for the glue layer application are as follows: 1-2 layers on new fabric surface, 2-3 layers on old fabric surface, 3-4 layers for wood or plywood surface, and 2-3 layers for parts or aluminum surface. It is important to note that for Hypalon boats, the fabric must have a coating layer, and sanding the boat fabric to remove this coating is a must before gluing.

Only mix the amount of glue you require for the repair, and seal the bottle right away, storing it in a cool area for future use. If the hardener turns to crystals or becomes sticky, it is no longer usable. To clean the area that needs to be repaired, use Methyl Hydrate, Acetone, or MEK.
